The Sons of the Phoenix were originally a custom chapter from a guy in GW, don't remember who exactly; they were featured in a White Dwarf in 2017 (the one that presents the new Typhus and Death Guard models) and they are proud sons of Dorn, nothing else ; like the Necropolis Hawks from the Raven Guard which were shown in the same article. But just how do you get these things on your models?! I'm compiling a list of resources (and links) to help both new and veteran SotP players share different ways to accomplish the awesome iconography and finishing touches that make this chapter so great.
